The Texas A&M Center for Teaching Excellence is devoted to improving student learning by enhancing both new and existing faculties strategies and
methods to improve the learning experience. Our team of experienced professional teaching consultants spends their time developing and preforming
workshops for this purpose.
Job Description |
• Assist with large and small events: material preparation, on-site registration, set-up and tear-down, transport supplies, refreshment coordination, publicity
• Knowledgeable of general event technology equipment (projectors, microphones, laptops, etc.) • Tabulate and maintain event participation records • Use online registration program to set-up and maintain online event registrations • Assist with general clerical office duties: sorting mail, answering phones, maintaining files, running errands, etc. • Inventory and maintain list of all audio/video equipment for CTE • Order, receive, and maintain CTE supplies inventory • Train on TAMU and CTE programs, policies, and procedures • Work 12-month calendar year, 20 hours per week around class schedule • Assist with one offsite event per year: overnight, after-hours • Knowledgeable of general office software programs (MS Office: Access, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) |
